Job summary

Nordex Engineering And Technology in Chennai seeks a mechanical engineer with at least 5 years in wind turbine gearboxes to provide technical support, perform borescope inspections, and manage service tickets.

You will monitor turbine condition, maintain documentation on SharePoint, and coordinate with maintenance teams. The role requires willingness to climb turbines and strong Excel/data skills, with prior project coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Manage and provide technical support for Service Now Tickets.
• Support the maintenance and continuous update of the Main Component Priority Watchlist.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
• Oversee and maintain Drive Train Support SharePoint resources, including Inspection report management, Regional documentation management.
• Gearbox Oil Sample Manage gearbox oil sampling and provide technical recommendations to wind farms.
• Data Monitoring Analysis Perform NC2 data monitoring and collection.
