Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Performance Analyst to analyze operational data, monitor performance, and drive optimization across turbine fleets. You will work with data analytics tools to identify trends, validate improvements through testing, and support on-site troubleshooting and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years in performance analysis and optimization focusing on operational data, efficiency improvements, and maintenance strategy development.
• Proficient in data analytics, SCADA data interpretation, and applying continuous improvement methodologies to enhance turbine performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wind turbine data to assess performance against benchmarks (power, efficiency, availability).
• Use advanced data analytics software (MATLAB, Python, R) to identify trends and anomalies for turbine performance improvement.
• Conduct performance optimization studies (blade aerodynamics, control system tuning, power curve adjustments).
• Assist on-site in troubleshooting performance issues using diagnostic tools and root cause analysis.
• Participate in testing and validation of performance improvements, including prototype testing and field trials.
• Collect and analyze test data to validate improvements and provide feedback to engineering teams.
• Manage SCADA systems and data acquisition tools for accurate performance analysis.
• Set up alarms, thresholds and monitoring parameters to track KPIs in real-time.
• Implement predictive maintenance strategies to forecast failures and schedule proactive maintenance.
• Monitor condition-based data (vibration, temperature) to detect wear and prevent performance drops.
• Maintain detailed records of performance analyses, tests, and optimization measures.
