Job summary

Genpact in India seeks a Specialist - F&A - AP to manage accounts payable processes, validate invoices, and optimize AP workflows. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with vendors. You will work with cutting-edge AI-driven tools to improve throughput and control costs.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, a finance background, and experience with PO/Non-PO invoices, vendor reconciliations, and process improvements. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance required or equivalent.
• Masters in Finance is a plus and CFA/CPA tied to AP scope is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of AP processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices and verifying data for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO and review for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle non-standard AP cases.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices and apply discounts when possible.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details and coding, per policies.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments, GRIR reconciliations and advances.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
