Job summary

Genpact Ltd. is seeking a Specialist - F&A (AP) in India to manage invoice processing, posting transactions, and maintaining AP records. You will review PO/Non-PO invoices, verify data, and ensure process quality in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

The role supports vendor payments cycles, GRIR reconciliations, and AP improvements. Strong analytical skills and finance background are essential to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Master's degree in Finance preferred.
• Professional certifications in AP/Finance add value.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle non-standard country-specific processes.
• Verify and calculate extensions and totals on invoices, apply discounts when applicable.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details per policies.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
