Job summary

Fusion Business Solutions is seeking a Spanish Translator to enable clear Spanish–English communication for our US-based stakeholders. You will translate documents, emails, and other materials with accuracy, preserving meaning and tone, and provide on-demand interpretation during calls.

Responsibilities

• Translate written content, emails, documents, reports, and other business materials between Spanish and English.
• Provide verbal interpretation during calls, meetings, and discussions whenever required.
• Ensure accurate translation while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context.
• Review and proofread translated documents for grammar, spelling, terminology, and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, customers, or internal stakeholders.
• Handle language-related queries and provide appropriate clarification when required.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and language across different documents and communications.
• Ensure complete confidentiality of client and company information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand translation requirements and deliver assignments within deadlines.
• Support other language-related activities and operational requirements as assigned.

About the Role

We are looking for a Spanish Translator with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of both languages, strong communication skills, and the ability to accurately translate and interpret information while maintaining the intended meaning and context.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Spanish Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
• Excellent proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong grammar, vocabulary, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively during US business hours/night shifts.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or formal training in Spanish language/translation.
• Experience working with US clients or international customers.
• Prior experience in a BPO, customer service, international business, or corporate environment.
• Familiarity with translation/CAT tools will be an added advantage.
