Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and manage global suppliers for fabrics and materials.
• Negotiate contracts and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
• Monitor inventory levels and track stock movement.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure compliance with standards.
• Source new materials and trims for collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and manage global suppliers for fabrics, threads, zippers, buttons, labels, and interlinings. Build long-term relationships and conduct regular performance reviews on cost and quality.
• Review purchasing requisitions, issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs). Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms to achieve cost‑saving targets.
• Inventory & Production Coordination: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and align with production schedules to avoid delays. Coordinate with Logistics for timely delivery of materials.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure all materials meet technical specifications and standards.
• Work with design and merchandising teams to source new materials and trims for upcoming collections.
