Job summary

Simran Consultant LLP in India seeks a Production Coordinator to manage the Time and Action calendar with sourcing and production teams, track style status, and update top management and buyers.

You will prepare BOMs in ERP and hand over details to sourcing for fabric and trims procurement. You will coordinate fabric/trim follow-ups, prepare production files with approvals, and seek buyer approvals for printing, embroidery, and subcontracting work.

Responsibilities

• Making production Time and action calendar with Sourcing & Production deptt. & chase department who are running late, and escape deviation upward in hierarchy. Keeping track of style status and updating the same to top management and buyers.
• Preparing Bill of material in ERP and handover correct details to sourcing department for procurement of fabric & Trims - Based on tech pack (technical sheet)
• Follow up of fabric, trims / accessories internally and if required follow up with supplier, and escape deviation upward in hierarchy.
• Prepare production file with detailed documents, approvals, samples and swatches and comments on sample from buyer.
• Seeking approvals from buyer and Giving approval of printing, embroidery production and other subcontracting work.
• Conduct PP meeting with quality team and production team - merchants conduct pre-production (PP) meeting with production team and quality team.
• Coordinating with buying house QA or 3rd Party QA for initial/mid & final inspection of shipment. Planning with shipping and documentation department for forwarding the approved shipment.
• Collecting costing inputs and preparing cost sheets.
• Collecting & organizing post shipment data for analysis & style closure.
