The role requires strong negotiation and vendor coordination, proficiency in Excel and ERP, and a detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach to maintain quality, cost efficiency, and a smooth supply chain in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source trims per tech packs/BOMs and ensure timely procurement.
• Issue POs, confirm, follow up, and track delivery to on-time arrival.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and warehouse for quality and inventory planning.

Location: Tiruppur | Experience: 2 - 4 years in sourcing within a textile industry (MUST)

About the Role

We are hiring a Sourcing Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of trims and accessories for garment production. The role involves vendor development, purchase order management, and ensuring timely availability of materials as per production plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, cost efficiency, and smooth supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for sewing trims & accessories.
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure long-term supply and quality.

Procurement Operations

• Source trims and accessories based on tech packs/BOMs shared by merchandising or design teams.
• Ensure timely procurement in line with production and delivery schedules.

Order Management

• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure confirmations, follow-ups, and tracking until delivery.
• Maintain procurement reports, vendor scorecards, and order status dashboards.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure trims meet quality standards, specs, and buyer requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for testing and approvals.

Inventory Coordination

• Collaborate with the warehouse/stores team for stock levels and reordering plans.
• Avoid excess or shortage of trims by planning with production and merchandising teams.
