Evolv Clothing is a Chennai-based apparel manufacturer with over 50 years of expertise in precision garment production. We are expanding our sourcing and operations team to strengthen our woven garment manufacturing capabilities for global markets.

Position: Purchase Executive – Trims. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end trims sourcing for sampling and bulk production, coordinate with vendors, track orders, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced export-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in trims purchasing/sourcing within woven garment manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of garment trims and accessories used in woven apparel production.
• Experience with garment exporters or woven apparel factories is mandatory.
• Good understanding of production timelines and supply chain coordination.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement of trims and accessories for SMS and bulk production.
• Ensure timely availability of trims aligned with production schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of packing trims and related accessories.
• Manage vendor communication for order placement, confirmations, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up to ensure on-time delivery and quantity accuracy.
• Build and maintain relationships with trim suppliers.
• Track trim orders from development to delivery.
• Monitor pending deliveries and resolve delays or shortages.
• Coordinate with stores, merchandising, and production teams for material flow.
• Monitor trim inventory, excess stock, and leftover trims.
• Maintain stock accuracy and minimize wastage.
• Prepare and update trim summary sheets and procurement trackers.
• Maintain records of vendors, inventory, obsolete stock, and purchase data.
• Ensure procurement documentation is audit-ready.
• Ensure received trims match approved samples and quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA and merchandising teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support cost optimization initiatives in trims sourcing.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce waste.

Position: Purchase Executive – Trims

Industry Preference: Woven Garment Manufacturing / Apparel Export

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive – Trims with a strong background in woven garment manufacturing to manage end-to-end trims sourcing and procurement for sampling and bulk production.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with woven apparel exporters/manufacturers and possess strong vendor management, follow-up, inventory control, and production coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute procurement of trims and accessories for SMS and bulk production
• Ensure timely availability of trims aligned with production schedules
• Coordinate procurement of packing trims and related accessories
• Manage vendor communication for order placement, confirmations, and delivery schedules
• Follow up proactively to ensure on-time delivery and quantity accuracy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trim suppliers

Order Tracking & Delivery Management

• Track all trim orders from development to delivery
• Monitor pending deliveries and resolve supply delays or shortages
• Coordinate with stores, merchandising, and production teams for smooth material flow

Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor trim inventory, excess stock, and leftover trims
• Ensure effective utilization and adjustment of surplus trims
• Maintain stock accuracy and minimize wastage

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and update trim summary sheets and procurement trackers
• Maintain accurate records of vendors, inventory, obsolete stock, and purchase data
• Ensure all procurement documentation is audit-ready

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure received trims match approved samples and quality standards
• Coordinate with QA and merchandising teams to resolve discrepancies

Cost & Process Efficiency

• Support cost optimization initiatives in trims sourcing
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce waste

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in procurement and inventory tracking
