Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Presales Solution Architect – GCP Services to design and present cloud solutions for customers. You will work with sales, delivery, and partners to translate business needs into secure, scalable Google Cloud architectures.

You will lead presales activities, run customer workshops, and develop migration and modernization strategies. The role demands strong communication, stakeholder management, and hands-on GCP expertise, with certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise and customer-facing presales experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of core GCP services: compute, networking, storage, security, identity, DevOps.
• Experience designing migration, integration, governance, and end-to-end cloud architectures on GCP.
• Proven ability to develop SoWs, manage PoCs, deliver demos, and drive solution validation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; Google Cloud certifications preferred.

As a Presales Solution Architect – GCP Services, you will play a critical role in supporting sales engagements by designing and presenting cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and delivery partners to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements and design secure, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions.
• Lead presales activities, including customer workshops, technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and architecture discussions.
• Design cloud architectures and develop migration, modernization, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud strategies using Google Cloud Platform.
• Support technical proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), RFPs/RFIs, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with sales teams, delivery teams, and partners to ensure successful solution handover and implementation.
• Stay updated on GCP innovations, emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and Google Cloud architecture best practices.

What we need to see from you

• Experienced Presales Solution Architect with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise and customer-facing presales experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of core GCP services, including compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps.
• Skilled in cloud migration, integration, governance, and end-to-end solution architecture using Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven ability to develop Statements of Work (SoWs), manage Proofs of Concept (PoCs), deliver technical demonstrations, and drive solution validation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with relevant Google Cloud certifications preferred.
