Global Payments in Pune, India seeks an experienced delivery lead to drive end-to-end fintech projects, coordinating cross-functional teams from discovery through deployment.

The role emphasizes regulatory alignment (PCI-DSS, SOC2, open banking) and managing complex relationships with clients and external partners in a highly regulated financial setting.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications in project management (PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP) are preferred.
• Direct experience migrating from monolithic to microservices or performing cloud transformations in regulated financial environments.
• A strong technical baseline or early career experience in software engineering, QA testing, or financial systems analysis.

Responsabilités

• End-to-end delivery of fintech solutions including payment gateways and banking system integrations.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, SOC2 and regional open banking regulations in collaboration with legal and risk teams.
• Orchestrate stakeholders and vendors across internal squads, client sponsors, third-party APIs, and clearing networks.
• Establish agile governance, manage sprint schedules, remove bottlenecks, and maintain a risk register for complex integrations.

Role & responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery of fintech solutions: Lead the cross-functional delivery of critical financial platforms, payment gateways, and banking system integrations from discovery to deployment.
• Compliance & regulatory alignment: Partner with legal, risk, and security teams to ensure all project deliverables strictly adhere to financial compliance frameworks including PCI-DSS, SOC2, and regional open banking regulations.
• Stakeholder & vendor orchestration: Manage complex relationships between internal product engineering squads, external client sponsors, third-party vendor APIs, and financial clearing networks.
• Agile governance & risk mitigation: Establish sprint schedules, eliminate development bottlenecks, track financial metrics, and maintain a proactive risk register for complex, multi-party integrations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PMI-ACP.
• Direct experience executing monolithic-to-microservices migrations or cloud transformations within a highly regulated financial setting.
• A strong technical baseline or early career experience in software engineering, QA testing, or financial systems analysis.
