Mphasis is seeking a senior leader to drive program delivery for Banking and Financial Services initiatives in Pune. The role involves managing cross-functional teams across program lifecycles, steering client communications, budgeting, and implementing transformation initiatives from QA to QE and test automation.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management are required to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

• Convert organizational goals into actionable program roadmaps and manage budgets.
• Oversee program lifecycle: scope, schedules, budgets, quality and delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and develop contingency plans.
• Drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance in projects.

Experience Requirements:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• At least 8+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services, with exposure to Core Banking, Card Services, Treasury, Digital Payments, and Financial Solutions.
• Experience in product development, implementation, and operationalization for FinTech clients.
• Experience in transformation initiatives, including QA to QE, test automation frameworks, test automation lifecycle, and related tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Delivery and Senior Leadership 20%

• Represent the Delivery organization and manage client escalations.
• Work with Program and Project Managers to ensure client expectations are met.
• Lead steering committee meetings, secure client approvals for major milestones, and prepare presentation materials.
• Convert organizational goals into actionable program roadmaps.
• Manage risks impacting projects, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee program budgets and track expenditure against forecasts.
• Demonstrate financial and operational benefits through measurable outcomes and client deliverables.

2. Program Management 60%

• Develop and execute program strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including Program Managers, Project Managers, and Technical Leads.
• Oversee the complete program lifecycle, including scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and delivery.
• Communicate program progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with executives, clients, and partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and develop contingency plans.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

3. Operational Management - 20%

• Manage resource planning, allocation, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Resolve conflicts and manage change while maintaining client relationships.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and contractual adherence.
• Drive cost control, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and delivery performance.

Key Expectations - Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage diverse project teams using Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
• Track project status, progress, KPIs, and milestones.
• Monitor program status and follow up with respective leads.
• Coordinate across teams to establish plans, goals, and procedures.
• Create project charters and project plans.
• Manage resources and support delivery reporting.
• Analyze risks, issues, actions, and dependencies.
• Maintain transparency and ensure high-quality project outcomes.
• Understand customer accounts and identify business opportunities.
• Coordinate client communications and leadership meetings.
• Facilitate collaboration and informed decision-making.
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning.
• Develop and maintain delivery forecasts and pipelines.
• Track delivery metrics and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage customer expectations and project governance.
• Oversee Statements of Work (SOWs), requirements, and RFP responses.
• Ensure adherence to Mphasis and client project management practices.
• Communicate deadlines, risks, issues, and changes transparently.
• Coordinate with Operations and HR to ensure timely resource ramp-up.
• Manage SLAs, KPIs, deliverables, milestones, and stakeholder relationships.
• Establish PMO structures to monitor and govern client deliverables.
• Manage risks, reporting, and delivery metrics.
