Job summary

AnandRathi is seeking a Technical Project Manager to run delivery end-to-end, review designs, challenge estimates on technical merit, unblock developers, and occasionally write code. You will own initiatives across cloud, data platform, and customer-facing products.

You will lead delivery management, technical ownership, and stakeholder management with strong SQL, Java/Python, microservices, and DevOps practices. A hybrid/onsite role in Mumbai may apply.

Qualifications

• Translate business requirements into technical stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to BRDs and functional specs alongside product and business teams.
• Coordinate with vendor and partner engineering teams; hold them to agreed scope, timelines, and quality.
• Manage UAT cycles, defect triage, and go-live coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own project planning, WBS, resource allocation, and timeline tracking for assigned initiatives.
• Run daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews.
• Publish weekly status reports and executive-level summaries for leadership.
• Review low-level designs, API contracts, and database schemas; push back where the approach won't scale.
• Validate developer estimates against actual technical complexity; participate in code reviews.

Role Summary

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who can run delivery end-to-end and stay close to the code. This is not a pure coordination role you'll be reviewing designs, questioning estimates on technical merit, unblocking developers, and occasionally writing code or scripts yourself. You'll own one or more initiatives across our cloud, data platform, and customer-facing product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Management

• Own project planning, WBS, resource allocation, and timeline tracking for assigned initiatives
• Run daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews
• Maintain JIRA hygiene - epics, stories, acceptance criteria, sprint burndown
• Identify risks and dependencies early; elevate with proposed mitigation, not just the problem
• Publish weekly status reports and executive-level summaries for leadership

Technical Ownership

• Review low-level designs, API contracts, and database schemas; push back where the approach won't scale
• Validate developer estimates against actual technical complexity
• Participate in code reviews and debug production issues alongside the team
• Write scripts, queries, or prototype code to validate assumptions, automate reporting, or unblock work
• Ensure non-functional requirements - security, performance, observability, logging - are specified and tested, not discovered late

Requirements & Stakeholder Management
