Job summary

Fintech Cloud is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to deliver technology projects within a fintech ecosystem. You will work with Developers, DevOps, QA, Product, Operations, Business, Compliance, and Management teams to ensure on-time delivery, defined scope, and high quality.

The role requires strong software development, cloud, database, and API expertise, with experience managing multi-project delivery and proper documentation across BRD/FRD, user stories, and acceptance

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of fintech technology projects from requirement gathering to production deployment.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, user stories, and tasks.
• Coordinate with Developers, QA, DevOps, Product, Operations, and Business teams.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct daily/weekly project reviews and track progress against committed timelines.
• Identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage multiple projects and establish clear priorities for the tech team.
• Coordinate documentation: BRD/FRD, user stories, diagrams, acceptance criteria.
• Oversee code development, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production monitoring.

Role Overview

• We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver technology projects within our fintech ecosystem.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, and fintech platforms.
• The candidate will work closely with Developers, DevOps, QA, Product, Operations, Business, Compliance, and Management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Our core technology stack includes Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, and cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of fintech technology projects from requirement gathering to production deployment.
• Understand business requirements and convert them into clear technical requirements, user stories, and development tasks.
• Coordinate with Developers, QA, DevOps, Product, Operations, and Business teams.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct daily/weekly project reviews and track progress against committed timelines.
• Identify project risks, technical dependencies, bottlenecks, and delays and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish clear priorities for the technology team.
• Ensure proper requirement documentation, BRD/FRD, user stories, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate code development, testing, UAT, production deployment, and post production monitoring.
• Ensure proper change management and release management processes are followed.
• Track bugs, production issues, enhancements, and technology tickets until closure.
• Work closely with DevOps teams for AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, server management, backups, monitoring, and security.
• Coordinate database-related activities involving PostgreSQL, including performance, migration, backup, and data integrity requirements.
• Understand API integrations with third-party fintech service providers.
• Monitor application performance, system stability, security, and scalability.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for APIs, databases, infrastructure, applications, and deployment processes.
• Coordinate technology audits, security reviews, access management, and compliance related requirements.
• Provide regular project status reports to senior management.
• Ensure proper escalation of critical project risks and production issues.
• Improve development processes, sprint management, estimation, and delivery efficiency.
• Maintain a clear tracker for pending development, UAT, production releases, PRs, bugs, and change requests.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-10 years of overall experience in technology/project management.
• Minimum 35 years of experience managing software development projects.
• Experience managing engineering teams working on Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, or similar technology stacks.
• Fintech / NBFC / Lending / Banking technology experience will be strongly preferred.
