Digital Nest in Hyderabad is seeking a Social Media Specialist to manage and grow its social presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. You will develop strategies, plan calendars, create engaging content, and monitor performance to drive leads and brand growth.

The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and collaborative, with 4-7 years of experience and a passion for digital marketing. This is a full-time on-site role in HiTech City, Hyderabad.

Job Summary

The Social Media Specialist at Digital Nest will be responsible for managing and growing the company's social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. The role involves developing social media strategies, planning content calendars, creating engaging content, identifying trends, managing online communities, and monitoring performance.

The ideal candidate should be creative, digitally savvy, proactive, and data-driven brand awareness, increase engagement, generate , with a strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement. The candidate will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to build leads, and drive measurable growth through social media.

1. Social Media Strategy

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with Digital Nest's business and marketing goals.
• Plan monthly/weekly content calendars for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
• Identify the right content formats, trends, and topics for the target audience.
• Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms, platform updates, and competitor activities.

2. Content Creation & Management

• Create engaging content including posts, carousels, reels, stories, short-form videos, and LinkedIn content.
• Write compelling captions, hooks, headlines, CTAs, and social media copy.
• Coordinate with designers, video editors, and internal teams to produce high-quality content.
• Ensure content maintains Digital Nest's brand voice, identity, and communication standards.

3. Social Media Growth

• Increase followers, reach, engagement, impressions, and overall brand visibility organically.
• Develop strategies to improve engagement rate and audience interaction.
• Experiment with different content formats and posting strategies to identify what performs best.
• Build an active and relevant online community around the brand.

4. Community Management

• Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, tags, and audience conversations.
• Respond to audience queries and comments professionally and promptly.
• Encourage conversations and engagement with followers.
• Escalate important customer/client queries to the relevant internal team.

5. Trend & Competitor Research

• Regularly research trending Reels, audio, hashtags, content formats, memes, and social media trends.
• Track competitors and industry leaders to identify content opportunities.
• Convert relevant trends into content ideas while maintaining Digital Nest's brand identity.

6. Analytics & Performance Tracking

• Monitor social media metrics such as Reach, Impressions, Engagement, Followers growth, Engagement rate, Video views/watch time, Leads generated, Website/profile traffic
• Prepare weekly/monthly social media performance reports.
• Analyze what content is working and recommend improvements based on data.

7. Campaigns & Lead Generation

• Plan and execute social media campaigns for brand awareness, engagement, events, products/services, and lead generation.
• Work with the marketing/sales team to convert social media activity into meaningful business outcomes.
• Support paid social media campaigns where required.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Design, Video, and Business Development teams.
• Understand upcoming campaigns, offers, events, and company initiatives and translate them into social media content.
• Coordinate content approvals and ensure timely publishing.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other major social media platforms.
• Excellent content writing, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to create engaging Reels, posts, carousels, stories, and short-form videos.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, hashtags, and audience engagement.
• Basic knowledge of Canva and video-editing tools such as CapCut, VN, or Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and other social media analytics tools.
• Ability to understand social media metrics and prepare performance reports.
• Strong communication, creativity, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to generate new content ideas and campaign concepts independently.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and lead-generation concepts is an advantage.
