Job summary

JAKSON Group in India is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day solar plant operations and maintenance, ensuring maximum availability and energy generation. You will lead engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, plan maintenance, monitor SCADA, and analyze performance data.

The role requires strong leadership, budget control, vendor management, and seamless coordination with clients, DISCOMs, OEMs, and regulators. Based in Ballari, Karnataka.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Solar Plant Operations & Maintenance
• Experience leading teams of engineers, technicians and subcontractors
• Proficient in monitoring SCADA systems and analyzing plant performance
• Strong understanding of safety and statutory compliance in solar deployments

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of the solar plant.
• Ensure maximum plant availability and optimize energy generation.
• Lead and supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor SCADA systems and analyze plant performance and alarms.
• Maintain compliance with HSE standards, CEIG, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, DISCOMs, OEMs, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage inventory of spares, consumables, and maintenance tools.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Control site budget and approve routine operational expenses.
• Ensure timely closure of punch points and customer complaints.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills
