Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/EE/Mech or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to maximize performance.
• Perform field operations including installation, commissioning support, repair, and troubleshooting at sites.
• Monitor plant performance via web-based platforms and SCADA; analyze weekly/monthly reports.
• Lead on-site and remote O&M teams to ensure maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with clients for issue resolution and performance updates.

-We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager Operations & Maintenance (Solar) to oversee the performance, maintenance, and operational excellence of utility-scale and commercial solar PV plants. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in solar O&M, plant performance analysis, client management, and team leadership, ensuring maximum plant availability and optimal energy generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corrective action plans based on identified operational issues.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize plant performance and uptime.
• Perform field operations including installation, commissioning support, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications at project sites and vendor locations.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all stages of Solar PV project development and operations.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and software components of Solar PV systems.
• Prepare detailed field service reports, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Monitor Solar PV plant performance through web-based monitoring platforms and SCADA systems.
• Analyze plant performance and prepare weekly and monthly reports covering:

- Performance Ratio (PR)

- Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF)

- Plant Availability

- Generation Analysis

- Generation Losses

- Downtime Analysis

• Lead on-site and remote O&M teams to ensure efficient plant operations and adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across multiple solar installations.
• Conduct technical audits of Solar PV plant design, execution, and operational performance.
• Coordinate directly with clients for issue resolution, performance discussions, and operational updates.
• Present monthly plant performance reports and improvement plans to senior management.
• Implement and optimize PVDiesel Generator synchronization logic for hybrid power systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and statutory regulations during all maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Solar PV, Electrical Safety, or O&M will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in Solar PV Operations & Maintenance.
• Hands-on experience managing utility-scale and commercial Solar PV plants.
• Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and plant optimization.
