Job summary

SupportFinity™ in Gujarat is seeking a Site In-charge with 7–10 years of Solar Operation & Maintenance experience to manage a 50 MW plant and lead a team of 15+ engineers and technicians.

You will oversee daily electrical equipment operation, maintenance planning, testing and commissioning, and ensure adherence to contractual KPI, safety standards, and budget constraints. Strong Excel and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Solar O&M experience.
• Handled a single 50 MW solar plant.
• Electrical testing and commissioning experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical equipment daily.
• Maintain reports as per site requirement.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Train subordinates for development per site.
• Oversee store/spares management.
• Plan and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Attend breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Prepare annual equipment testing and related reports.
• Ensure adherence to EHS requirements and O&M manuals.
• Maintain equipment warranties and contractual KPI tracking.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Job description

Experience : Min. 7 years to 10 years exp in Solar Operation & Maintenance, (at least should have handled single plant capacity of 50 MW solar power plant, experience in electrical equipment testing and commissioning is mandatory).

Roles & Responsibiity

• Daily monitoring the functions of all electrical equipment’s.
• All reports to be maintain as per site requirement.
• Subcontractor Management.
• Regular trainings to subordinates for their development as per site
• Store/Spares Management.
• Schedule and execute the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
• Attending of Breakdown maintenance at minimal duration.
• Annual testing of Electrical Equipment
• Reporting to Project Manager.- DGR, Maintenance Report, Breakdown/ RCA report
• Quality Management System Implementation.
• Adherence to EHS Requirements
• Adherence to O&M manual requirements
• Maintaining equipment warranty/ guarantee.
• Ensuring Contractual KPI – Generation, PR
• Stake holder management
• Internal : Reporting manager, supply chain, F&A, Engineering,
• External : Client , Vendor / sub-contractor
• Candidate will work as Site In-charge.
• Should lead a team of minimum 15 plus team members (Engineers, Technician)
• Strong knowledge of Electrical equipment – operation & maintenance philosophy
• Experience in Electrical Testing & Commissioning preferred
• Strong in Maintenance planning of SOLAR plant
• Soft skills : Should be good in MS- Excel, word, ppt ;
• Communication : transparent & clear (verbal); Basic email communications
• Able to manage site budget
