Job summary

GPS Renewables in Ludhiana is seeking an HR professional with construction or manufacturing exposure to handle on-site recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, joining kits, uniforms, and IT assets.

The role also focuses on contract labour management, BOCW Act compliance, IR requirements, attendance, supplier sub-contractors, and coordination with project HR and HSE teams to drive safety, governance, and welfare initiatives at sites.

Qualifications

• MBA/MSW or Labour certifications equivalent to HR master's degree.
• Minimum of three years' experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Experience with contract labour management, BOCW Act and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment coordination at sites for on & off-roll employees (Junior level).
• Onboarding new hires at sites – On & Off roll employees.
• Ensuring that the new hires are provided with Joining kit, Uniform and IT Asset – Laptop as applicable.
• Initiate and complete exit formalities for relieving employees.
• Managing the attendance records for GPS on roll, off roll and sub-contractor employees at sites.
• Managing the sub-contractor at sites and ensure that they maintain 100% compliances at site and provide adequate support.
• Ensuring that the sub-contractors are adhering to all IR compliances requirements and providing adequate support to them and ensure that the data maintenance are in the respective Google drive.
• Maintain and upload GPSR and Contractor compliance documents at clients portal as needed before the cut-off date.
• Manage the labour inspector inspection with the Client PM or HR team as needed.
• Drive and Implement HR programmes revolves around PMS, L&D, R&R, and Wellness programs at sites.
• Managing the employees’ grievances below APM level at sites and report to the Project Execution & HR leadership team.
• Coordination with Project In charge and with site HSE team to drive Safety campaigns.
• Staying current with industry HR, IR, Labour laws trends and regulations to identify potential opportunities and risks for the company.

Education
