Job summary

SYSTRA invites applications for a Site Engineer-Signalling System to support the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The role focuses on ETCS signalling design review, installation, testing, and integration at a site-based level, with coordination across rolling stock, telecom, and asset management interfaces.

The position requires an engineering graduate (BE/BTech or Diploma) with 5+ years (or 7+ years for a Diploma holder) in signalling during construction on rail-based transit projects,

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate with 5 years or Diploma with 7 years experience in signalling systems during construction.
• Experience in rail-based transit projects meeting high-speed/metro criteria as defined.
• Knowledge of ETCS signalling interfaces and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review of ETCS Signalling System.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning of ETCS signalling.
• Assist in interfacing ETCS with rolling stock and telecom subsystems and approve interface documents.
• Assist in verifying work and preparing payment requests to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with ISA, CMRS and other agencies for project completion.
• Perform other duties assigned by PD and client NHSRCL.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist Chief Expert & Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to : Assist in Design review of ETCS Signalling System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of ETCS signalling system.
• Assist in Interfacing of ETCS Signalling System with Rolling Stock, Telecom Subsystems, Asset Management System etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Section Engineer - Signalling System

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification:

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent)

Experience:

Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience of implementing Signalling System during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)*

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
