Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for the position of Site Engineer-IDS-1 in Surat. The role supports design review, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of the IDS as part of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project.

Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, with 5 years (BE) or 7 years (Diploma) of hands-on experience in optical-fiber based systems. This is a challenging career opportunity with cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate in Electrical/Electronics or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years with BE or 7 years with Diploma in implementation of optical fiber based systems.
• Experience in IDS design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Willing to assist interfacing with other systems and prepare interface documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Expert and Dy. Chief Expert in IDS design reviews and related tasks.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning of IDS.
• Assist in interfacing IDS with other systems and approval of interface documents.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals where applicable.
• Coordinate with agencies (ISA, CMRS) for successful project completion.
• Assist Section Engineer and undertake any other work required to complete the project.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Surat

Missions/Main Duties

> Assist Chief Expert & Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in design review of IDS.
• Assist in installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of IDS.
• Assist in interfacing of IDS with other systems (as applicable) and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals. (as applicable)
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).
• > Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.
• > Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics stream or equivalent.

Min. Experience: Engineering Graduate with overall 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 07 years of experience in implementation of Optical Fiber based systems.
