Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Section Engineer-IDS-1 to support PMC services for Signalling & Telecommunication, SCADA and Ticketing systems on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project. Site-based role requiring hands-on coordination with contractors and design teams.

Prerequisites include an engineering graduate (BE/B.Tech) or diploma in Electrical/Electronics with about 7–10 years of experience in Optical Fiber based systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 7 years of overall experience, or Diploma with 10 years in implementation of Optical Fiber based systems.
• Assist in design review of IDS and related systems.
• Coordinate testing, integration and commissioning activities for IDS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review of IDS.
• Assist in installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of IDS.
• Assist in interfacing IDS with other systems and interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with agencies like ISA, CMRS for project completion.
• Perform other duties as required by PD and Client.

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert and Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to :

• Assist in design review of IDS.
• Assist in installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of IDS.
• Assist in interfacing of IDS with other systems (as applicable) and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals. (as applicable)
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics stream or equivalent.

Experience

Engineering Graduate with overall 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 10 years of experience in implementation of Optical Fiber based systems.
