Job summary

SYSTRA invites applications for Site Engineer-SCADA-2 to support project management consultancy services for Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail. The role focuses on design review, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of the SCADA system, with interfacing to electrical subsystems and contractor coordination.

The candidate will assist in obtaining statutory approvals and liaise with agencies to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical; diploma acceptable with required experience.
• Experience in SCADA systems during construction of rail-based transit projects.
• Knowledge of interfacing SCADA with other electrical subsystems and interface documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review of SCADA System.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing & commissioning of SCADA system.
• Interface SCADA with other subsystems and approve interface documents.
• Assist in verification of completed work and payment requests to contractors.
• Coordinate with agencies for statutory approvals and project completion.

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the follwoing but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of SCADA System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of SCADA. system.
• Assisting in Interfacing of SCADA System with other Systems including Electrical sub-system, and Interface document approval.
• Assisting in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in design review of SCADA System.
• Assisting in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of SCADA. system.

• This position stands in for all roles and responsibilities of the Chief Expert-SCADA during his absence.

Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.

Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile / Skills

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience

Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience inimplementation of SCADA Systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
