Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Section Engineer-Radio System including FRMCS for a Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project. This site-based role supports design reviews and commissioning of LTE/5G wireless systems within rail infrastructure.

You will assist senior experts, interface with S&T, Rolling Stock, and Asset Management, and coordinate approvals and payments while ensuring safety and quality on site. Candidates should hold an electrical/electronics engineering qualification and have

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate (B.E/B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics.
• 7–10 years of experience implementing Radio Systems in rail projects.
• Experience with GSM-R/TETRA/LTE-4G/5G during construction phase.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design reviews for LTE/5G Radio systems.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning.
• Interface LTE system with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management System etc., and approve interfaces.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with agencies (ISA, CMRS) for project completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned to complete the project.

Systra is appointed to provide Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System Of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert and Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that include the following but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of LTE/5G System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of LTE/5G System.
• Assist in Interfacing of LTE system with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management System etc. (as required), and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification:

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience:

Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience in implementing Radio System (GSM-R/TETRA/WiFi/LTE-4G/5G) during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
