Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for Site Engineer-MEP-1 to support the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The role focuses on coordinating MEP works, design reviews, and building management systems for utility buildings and OCC/BCC, in a demanding rail environment.

The candidate will assist in supervision, interface management, and various project tasks under PD/Client guidance, contributing to successful project delivery on site in Surat.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate in Electrical stream (B.E./B.Tech or Diploma).
• Overall experience 5 years (B.E./B.Tech) or 7 years (Diploma) in MEP for rail/metro projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review, verification and implementation of Environment Control System and Building Management System for utility buildings/OCC/BCC.
• Assist in design review, verification and implementation of MEP systems (LV, Solar, HVAC, Fire Detection and Fire Suppression, plumbing) for utility buildings/OCC/BCC.
• Assist in supervision and interface against MEP works.
• Assist in any other roles to complete the project as required by the PD/Client (NHSRCL).
• Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.
• Any other work required to complete the project.

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist Dy. Chief Experts in performing tasks that includes but are not limited to:
  • Assist in design Review, Verification, implementation of Environment Control System and Building Management system for utility buildings/OCC/BCC etc.
  • Assist in design review, Verification, implementation of MEP system (LV System, Solar, HVAC, Fire Detection and Fire Suppression System, plumbing etc.) for utility buildings/OCC/BCC etc.
  • Assist in supervision and Interface against MEP Works.
  • Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Client(NHSRCL).
• Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.
• Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Minimum Qualification:

Engineering Graduate(B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma in Electrical Stream

Minimum Exprience:

Engineering Graduate with overall 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 07 years of experience in implementing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) system during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-SpeedRailways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
