Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for a Site Engineer QA/QC-2 on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. You will support QA/QC plans, assist in inspections, and help ensure compliance with project standards during construction.

Engineering graduates with 5 years (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma with 7 years in QA/QC on rail projects are encouraged to apply. The role is site-based and targets professionals ready to contribute to a landmark national infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma with 5 years QA/QC experience in rail-based transit construction.
• Rail-based Transit System projects include High-Speed, Semi High-Speed, and Metro Railways as defined.
• Experience in reviewing QA/QC plans and ensuring compliance on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA/QC expert in reviewing QA/QC plans across project phases.
• Assist in reviewing contractor QA/QC plans and establish standard procedures.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining approvals and inspections of works.
• Support Section Engineer and project team in QA/QC activities.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist QA/QC Expert in performing tasks that includes following but are not limited to:

• Assist in reviewing of detailed Quality Assurance(QA) and Quality Control (QC) Plans and implementation in the entire project phases for the packages under its scope.
• Assist in reviewing and monitoring QA/QC plans of other Contractors(as applicable).
• Assist in establishing standard procedures & tools for QA/QC.
• Assist in compliance of the requirements of multilateral /bilateral funding agencies (as applicable).
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals (as applicable).
• Assist in carrying out inspections of contractor’s works.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Client(NHSRCL).
• Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification and Experience:

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) /Quality Control (QC) during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
