Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for the position of Section Engineer-Operation and Maintenance (Roll on/Roll off) for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project in Ahmedabad. The candidate will assist in reviewing O&M manuals, coordinating for overall ITC, and ensuring readiness of systems under scope.

You will help plan test trains, safety confirmations, supervise test trains from OCC, energization/de-energization of power facilities, and support maintenance and spare-management planning as

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate (B.E/B.Tech) or Diploma.
• 07 years experience with B.E./B.Tech or 10 years with Diploma in O&M readiness during construction in rail-based transit projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing O&M manuals of Contractor and Client (NHSRCL).
• Coordinate for Overall ITC readiness and system readiness within scope.
• Assist in planning schedules for test trains and safety confirmations before test train operations.
• Support inspection planning for trains and oversee test train movements from OCC.
• Assist energization/de-energization of power facilities at site or OCC.
• Assist operating track motor cars for safety confirmations during tests.
• Assist in maintenance, monitoring, and training plan reviews for staff.
• Assist in spare management and handover planning.
• Support additional roles as required to complete the project.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location:

Ahmedabad

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist in reviewing of O&M manuals of Contractor and the Client (NHSRCL).
• Assist and Coordinate for Overall ITC.
• Assist in ensuring readiness of System(s) under its scope.
• Assist in planning the schedule for test Train, safety confirmation before test Train operation and utilization of the respective drivers/operators.
• Assist in the preparation of the inspection plan of Trains.
• Assist in controling the routes, turnouts, supervise operation status of test trains from OCC and its entry/exit the depot from Depot Control Room (DCR).
• Assist in the energization and de-energization of power supply facilities at site or OCC.
• Assist in operating track motor cars for safety confirmation prior to test train operation during Miscellaneous Operations Tests / Control Run of Dynamic Inspection.
• Assist in reviwing of comprehensive maintenance plans, monitoring strategies and training plans for the staff.
• Assist in reviewing of spare management and handover plans.
• Assist any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification:

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma

Min. Experience:

Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience in management of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) readiness during construction phase in Rail based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
