Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Site Engineer-IP Network in Surat for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. You will assist senior experts in reviewing telecom design, coordinating data transmission backbone and interfaces with signaling and SCADA systems on a major rail project.

The role focuses on installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and liaison with agencies for approvals. Engineering graduates with 5 years (BE/BTech) or 7 years (Diploma) in Electrical/Electronics are invited

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 5 years, or Engineering Diploma with 7 years of experience implementing IP network of Telecommunication System during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Design review of Telecom System including sub systems for backbone of data transmission from field units to centralized control centres (DTS), Wireless Network, CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, PAS, Master Clock, EPBAX, Telecom SCADA etc.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of Telecom System.
• Assist in Interfacing of Telecom System with Rolling Stock, Signalling Subsystems, MEP, SCADA etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS for successful completion of the project.
• Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.
• Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert & Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasksthat includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of Telecom System including sub systems for backbone of data transmission from field units to centralized control centres (DTS), Wireless Network, CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, PAS, Master Clock, EPBAX, Telecom SCADA etc.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience

Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience of implementing IP network of Telecommunication System during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
