Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for the role of Site Engineer-SCADA-3 for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The site-based position focuses on SCADA design reviews, installation, integration, testing and commissioning activities under project supervision.

The candidate should have a BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical with 5–7 years of relevant SCADA experience on rail-based transit projects, and willingness to work on-site.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical.
• 5 years (BE/B.Tech) or 7 years (Diploma) of SCADA experience on rail-based transit projects.
• Experience in design review, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review of SCADA System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of SCADA System.
• Assist in interfacing SCADA with other subsystems and obtaining approvals.
• Assist in preparing payment requests to contractors and coordinating with agencies.

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of SCADA System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of SCADA. system.
• Assisting in Interfacing of SCADA System with other Systems including Electrical sub-system, and Interface document approval.
• Assisting in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in design review of SCADA System.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience

Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience inimplementation of SCADA Systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
