Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for the position of Site Engineer-Signalling System for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. Based on-site, you will assist in design reviews, installation, testing and commissioning of ETCS signalling systems, and interface with rolling stock and subsystems.

The role requires an Engineering Graduate with 5 years (BE) or 7 years (Diploma) of experience in signalling during construction on rail transit projects, with knowledge of ETCS and coordination

Qualifications

• Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent).
• Experience: BE 5 years or Diploma 7 years in signalling during construction in rail-based transit projects.
• Rail-based Transit System projects include High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways with ETCS-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design reviews of ETCS signalling system.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning of ETCS signalling system.
• Assist in interfacing ETCS with rolling stock and telecom subsystems; approve interface documents.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Coordinate with agencies (ISA, CMRS) for project milestones and approvals.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai - Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Site

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert & Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to :

• Assist in Design review of ETCS Signalling System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of ETCS signalling system.
• Assist in Interfacing of ETCS Signalling System with Rolling Stock, Telecom Subsystems, Asset Management System etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Section Engineer - Signalling System

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent)

Experience: Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience of implementing Signalling System during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)*

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
