Unearth Studio is seeking a Junior Site Engineer for its Build/Project Coordination team in Bengaluru. You will maintain weekly visibility over time, cost and quality on build projects where Unearth's Build service is engaged.
This role is not a full-time site supervisor; the contractor handles day-to-day site execution. You will visit sites weekly, document progress, and coordinate with the project team to surface and address issues before they grow.

This is not a full-time site supervision role. The contractor and their site team remain responsible for day-to-day site execution.
The Unearth Site Engineer acts as the weekly eyes and ears of the project, visiting the site, identifying deviations, documenting progress, coordinating with the project team, and ensuring that issues requiring attention are surfaced and followed through.
The goal is simple:
Every week, know where the project stands, identify what is going wrong, and make sure the right action happens before a small problem becomes a large one.

The visit should result in a clear understanding of:
What was supposed to happen What actually happened Why there is a difference What needs to happen next.
Support the project team in keeping projects on schedule.
The role is not expected to create complex project schedules independently, but must be able to read, understand and challenge a schedule.
Act as an additional quality-control layer between Unearth's design intent and site execution.
Where an issue is identified, the engineer should:
Observe Document Communicate Follow up.
The engineer is not expected to personally rectify the work.
The role will support cost control by identifying site-level issues that can create unnecessary expenditure.
The Site Engineer does not independently approve additional costs or variations.
Maintain accurate project records after every site visit.
Documentation should be short, factual and useful rather than administrative for its own sake.
Coordinate between the various people involved in project delivery,
The engineer should ensure that site issues do not simply get reported they are closed out.
The Junior Site Engineer is not:
The contractor remains responsible for day-to-day execution.
Unearth's responsibility is to provide structured oversight, coordination and control.
The expected rhythm is:
Before Visit
Review previous week's actions and current project programme.
Site Visit

After Visit
Update project records and action tracker.
Internal Coordination
Escalate issues requiring design, cost or management decisions.

"What is the risk, what needs to happen, who needs to do it, and by when?"
The measure of this role is not the number of site visits completed.
It is:
How much better does Unearth's visibility and control of the project become because this person is involved?
