Job summary

The role involves preparing test scenarios, executing multiple testing types, validating UI, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Experience in functional testing of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog).
• Strong ability to create and execute test cases and test data.
• Proficiency in defect management and reporting across tools like Jira/Azure DevOps/ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and ServiceNow configurations.
• Prepare test scenarios, cases, data, and execution plans.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End testing.
• Test ServiceNow ITSM processes and workflows.
• Validate incidents, problems, changes, requests, catalog items, and flow designer/workflows.
• Verify UI, forms, data validations, and user roles.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing with other apps.
• Log and track defects; retest after fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, admins, BAs, and stakeholders.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate status and risks.
• Support UAT and production validation when required.

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow QA Functional Tester to validate ServiceNow applications, workflows, configurations, and business processes. The candidate should have strong functional testing experience in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and ServiceNow configurations.


• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution plans.


• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End testing.


• Test ServiceNow ITSM processes and workflows.


• Validate:

• SLA and notifications


• Validate Flow Designer / Workflows, approvals, assignments, notifications, and business rules from a functional perspective.

• Perform integration testing between ServiceNow and other applications.


• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.


• Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.


• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, administrators, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.


• Participate in requirement reviews and identify gaps from a testing perspective.


• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and defects.


• Support UAT and production validation when required.

Mandatory Skills
