Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and deploy solutions across ITSM, CSM, and Integrations from our India-based team.

You will collaborate with analysts and architects to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow applications, scripts, and workflows, while ensuring best practices, security, and system stability.

3+ years hands-on experience, strong JavaScript and Glide API knowledge, and familiarity with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer (minimum 3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core platform features and capabilities.
• Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly, AngularJS preferred).
• Experience in ITSM, CSM, Integrations modules and integrations with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Experience in at least one or more modules: ITSM, CSM, Integrations
• Knowledge of integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, web services, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Studio, Update Sets, Flow Designer, Service Portal development.
• Experience with platform upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) must have.
• One or more advanced certifications (CIS ITSM, CIS CSM) must have.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine / custom application development.
