Job summary

Buxton Consulting in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced ServiceNow specialist to own ITSM, HRSD, and CMDB integrations end-to-end. You will work on portal configurations, CMDB discovery, and robust reporting to support enterprise services.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in ServiceNow with strong scripting, integration skills, and experience with Jira and PagerDuty. You will engage with business and technical stakeholders and drive production support and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ServiceNow experience with HRSD, CSM, ITSM, CMDB and Portal.
• End-to-end implementations of CSM, ITSM, HRSD, CMDB.
• Support ServiceNow users in Production and Sandbox environments.
• Experience with inbound/outbound integrations (Jira, PagerDuty).
• Reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.
• Upgrade testing and application security administration.
• User training on ServiceNow practices.
• Strong ITSM scripting and production support.

• Design, build, troubleshoot and support REST/SOAP integrations.
• Handle integration failures and data sync issues.

Job Description:

• Must have 8+ years of experience in modules ServiceNow experience with Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Portal experience and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Must have done multiple end-to-end, full life cycle implementations modules Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD), Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Support ServiceNow Application Users
• ServiceNow system support including Production and Sandbox environments
• Covers modules: Case, HR Case, Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge
• ITSM, CSM, HRSD, Portal, Automation
• Reports and Dashboard
• Experience with Inbound and Outbound integrations with ServiceNow. Move integrations from the custom API call to the integration hub.
• ServiceNow Release upgrade testing
• ServiceNow Application security administration
• User training for users to perform their day-to-day jobs by explaining ServiceNow standard practices
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow ITSM experience, including scripting, configuration, and production support.
• Good experience with ServiceNow integrations, especially with external tools such as Jira and PagerDuty.
• Hands-on experience with CMDB and Discovery.
• Ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and support REST/SOAP/API-based integrations.
• Experience handling integration failures, data sync issues, authentication/connectivity issues, and production incidents.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.
• Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow environments with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Should be comfortable taking ownership of the existing integration landscape and upcoming Jira and PagerDuty integration work.
