Job summary

Input Zero Technologies in Pune is seeking a ServiceNow ITSM Developer to join our IT service management initiatives. You will design, configure and customize ITSM applications, implement workflows, and integrate with external systems to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

You will work with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure best practices, upkeep with upgrades, and timely production support while following ITIL-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub.

Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, primarily within IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Work on core ITSM modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and UI Actions.
• Configure Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Catalog Client Scripts, and approval workflows.
• Work on integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and platform upgrade guidelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable ITSM solutions.
• Support instance upgrades, enhancements, defect resolution, and ongoing platform maintenance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management concepts.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and resolving ServiceNow platform issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• ServiceNow CSA certification is preferred; CAD certification would be an added advantage.
• Candidates who can work from the Pune location are preferred.
