Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Developer (ITSM/ITOM/CMDB) with 6-11 years of hands-on experience to implement ITSM, ITOM, HAM, and SAM modules and drive integrations with third-party tools.

The role focuses on platform design, optimization, and roadmap development, with strong emphasis on CMDB maturity, discovery, and governance. You will contribute to technical design, rules, scripts, ACLs, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in ServiceNow development for ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM modules.
• Strong knowledge in ServiceNow Integrations with 3rd party tools.
• 3x ServiceNow Mainline certifications are preferred
• Strong knowledge in Discovery, CSDM and CMDB maturity enhancements

Responsibilities

• Work on High Level Design Documentation and Technical Design Documentation and propose solutions that best suits platform capabilities.
• Capability to decide Configuration vs Customization and propose the best solution to Customer.
• Conduct continuous improvement workshops specific to CMDB with Customer to understand the pain points and propose remediations.
• Build/ Propose solutions to optimize platform performance and minimize long-term technical risk
• Check the subscription/ License consumption as per the contracts.
• Provides technical evaluation of solutions against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities and best practices
• Constant focus on existing modules to bring/convert continuous service improvements to new business opportunities
• Provide expert advice for delivery and operations team post maturity assessment.

Job Requirements*

• Experience in ServiceNow developer with Implementation experience in ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM modules.
• Strong knowledge in ServiceNow Integrations with 3rd party tools.
• 3X ServiceNow Mainline certifications are preferred
• Strong knowledge in Discovery, CSDM and CMDB maturity enhancements
• Experience in Development – Platform and Data
• Experience in providing platform roadmap assessing the current situation.
• Strong knowledge in ServiceNow development: Business rules, script includes, client scripts, ACLs, Discovery patterns, Flow designer and platform configurations
• Supports design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve customer desired outcomes
