Responsibilities
- Assist in administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
- Configure and support modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Handle service requests and resolve basic platform issues
- Manage users, roles, and access controls
- Work on workflows, business rules, and UI policies
- Interact with clients/stakeholders to understand requirements and provide support
- Provide timely updates and status reports to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams for enhancements and issue resolution
- Maintain proper documentation of tasks and processes
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (mandatory – client-facing role)
- Basic understanding of ITSM processes
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform/navigation
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle client queries professionally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
What Success Looks Like in this Role
- Gains familiarity with Maintenance & Support (M&S) Engineering concepts, practices and methodologies.
- With guidance, performs and/or assists with standard support requests, including:
- Identifying, recording and classifying problems of low complexity and impact.
- Investigating and diagnosing identified problems, proposing changes for problem resolution.
- Detecting, recording and classifying incidents and performing initial support, investigation, diagnosis, resolution / recovery and closure.
- Formulating and testing of proposed incident resolutions (with assigned M&S team members).
- Integrating updates, fixes and change requests within the client environment.
- Follows established escalation procedures for difficult or unusual incidents.
- Documents own tickets and contributes to technical document preparation, FAQs and release notes.
- Contributes to root cause analysis and change recommendations.
- Learns and adheres to industry and company M&S Engineering standards.
