Reqroots is seeking a Service/Technical Trainer in Tamil Nadu, India to design and deliver technical training for service advisors and technicians, ensuring adherence to OEM standards and improving workshop efficiency.

The role covers training on ICE/Hybrid/EV systems, OEM service processes, and diagnostic techniques, with emphasis on risk-based safety. Travel within the region is mandatory and exposure to multiple OEMs is valued.

Formación

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Automobile or Electrical fields.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and service procedures.
• Experience interpreting service manuals and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct technical training programs for technicians and service advisors.
• Train on engine, transmission, braking, suspension, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
• Deliver training on OEM service processes, repair manuals, SOPs, and best practices.
• Support new model launches, technical updates, recalls, and service campaigns.
• Assess trainee performance through tests and on-job assessments.
• Coordinate with OEM and regional service teams to plan trainings.
• Develop and update training materials, presentations, manuals and job aids.
• Ensure compliance with IATF / ISO standards and safety guidelines.

Job Summary

The Service / Technical Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering technical training programs for service advisors and technicians to ensure adherence to OEM standards, improve workshop efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical training programs for technicians and service advisors (Classroom Hands-on)
• Train on engine, transmission, braking, suspension, electrical, and diagnostic systems
• Deliver training on OEM service processes, repair manuals, SOPs, and best practices
• Support new model launches, technical updates, recalls, and service campaigns
• Assess trainee performance through tests, evaluations, and on-job assessments
• Identify skill gaps and recommend training needs based on workshop performance
• Coordinate with OEM, dealerships, and regional service teams
• Develop and update training materials, presentations, manuals, and job aids
• Ensure compliance with IATF / ISO standards and safety guidelines
• Support continuous improvement, productivity, and quality enhancement initiatives

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems (ICE / Hybrid / EV - preferred)
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and fault analysis
• Ability to interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures
• Knowledge of OEM warranty policies and service processes
• Exposure to DMS and LMS platforms (added advantage)
