Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a ServiceNow expert to coordinate third‑party integrations and platform upgrades, while driving ITSM process design and deployment. You will implement configurations across incident, problem, change, knowledge, and service catalog modules, and build reports and dashboards for management.

The role covers development of catalog items and task‑based workflows, plus creation of documentation and adherence to best practices in ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Experience on 3rd party Integrations.
• Hands-on with ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, Service Level Management, Service Catalog.
• Proficient in ServiceNow development and configuration: Business Rules, ACLs, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 3rd party integrations and ServiceNow upgrades.
• Oversee installation and upgrades of ServiceNow platform.
• Develop, configure, and maintain ITSM processes and policies.
• Build ServiceNow reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Create new catalog items and task-based workflows to support cross-team work.
• Perform SIT/UAT coordination and document results.
• Draft technical and functional documentation for maintenance items and projects.
• Define standards for ServiceNow development and best practices.

Role & responsibilities

1. Experience on 3rd party Integrations
2. Coordinating ServiceNow application and platform upgrades.
3. Hands‑on experience in ITSM modules e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, Service Level Management, Service Catalog etc.
4. Process automation using ServiceNow Flow designer, Workflows, Integrations.
5. Proficient in all areas of ServiceNow development and configuration including but not limited to Business Rules, ACLs, Domain Separation, Script Includes, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, and UI Policies.
6. Ability to build ServiceNow Reports, dashboards.
7. Development of new request items in the catalog the creation of new task-based workflows that can support cross team engagement.
8. Perform Systems Integration Testing and manage/coordinate user acceptance testing.
9. Creation of technical and functional documents for ongoing maintenance items and projects.
10. Develops ITSM process activities through the development of policies, processes, and procedures to establish a standard methodology/practice that will Communicates process standards to ensure understanding across the organization.
11. Works with the process/service owner to define the configuration management process and the necessary policies.
12. Define best practices and standards for developing solutions using ServiceNow.
13. Provide original solutions to complex problems with the ability to advise and recommend advanced technical approaches and solutions.
