Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with power tools and field service preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting in electrical, electronic and mechanical domains.
• Hands-on repair, servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot power tools like drills, grinders, wrenches, saws, and hammers.
• Repair, maintain, and service electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Identify faults in motors, PCBs, batteries, chargers, wiring, and control systems.
• Conduct RCA for repeated product issues.
• Perform warranty inspections and assess defects vs. misuse.
• Carry out functional and safety testing after repair.

• Perform repair, maintenance, and servicing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Identify faults in motors, switches, PCBs, batteries, chargers, wiring, and control systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for repeated product failures and technical issues.
• Perform warranty inspection and determine whether failures are due to manufacturing defects or misuse.
• Carry out functional and safety testing after repair to ensure the tool is working properly.
• Handle customer complaints and technical queries and provide appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with customers, dealers, distributors, and authorized service centers for service-related issues.
• Manage spare parts, including identification, replacement, and inventory coordination.
• Prepare and maintain service reports, repair records, warranty claims, and failure analysis reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience: Experience in power tools, electrical equipment, industrial equipment, consumer electronics, or field service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in repair, servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
