Job summary

Fabtech Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a Service Engineer for International Execution based at Andheri (HO).

The role involves on-site maintenance, service, erection and commissioning of projects across regions, with extensive travel to customer sites and coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Exposure as service engineer in pharma/manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• CAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and data presentation skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to build good customer relations at remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs at customer site, including ground maintenance.
• Service, erection and commissioning activities for projects.
• Meet service objectives for timelines and quality.
• Maintain cordial relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate efficiently with other departments and logistics.
• Attend breakdowns and service calls; manage service reports.
• Travel extensively to installation and maintenance regions.
• Prepare documentation, minutes of meetings, and validation steps.
• Communicate with logistics and ensure on-site m/c assembly and demo.

Function: International Execution

Reports to: Vice President – International Execution

Location: Andheri (HO)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs at customer site, in addition to performing ground maintenance.
• Major job role is related to activities to be done for Service, Erection & Commissioning of the project.
• Achievement of Service objective (timeline / quality).
• Maintain cordial relationship with customers / suppliers.
• Efficient coordination with other departments.
• Achievement of TAT (Service Response/ Job Completion time).
• Coordinating with Principal Supplier for Customer Complaints.
• Maintaining schedules, Service Reports.
• Attending break down calls /complain calls.
• Travelling to designated regions extensively for installation, breakdown calls & maintenance calls.
• Other basic physical activities shall include
• - Testing machine tools,
• - Installing machine equipment,
• - Giving emergency assistance,
• Other Documentation activities shall include
• - Preparing documentation & generating Minutes of meeting
• - Carrying out validation process,
• - Giving technical assistance
• Picking list forward to concern person
• Packing material order
• Packing under my observation
• Communication with Logistic department
• M/C assemble & utility connected on site
• M/C run & demo to client

Skill sets

• Must have exposure as service engineer in Pharma/ Manufacturing companies
• Should be flexible to travel at customer site
• Knowledge of CAD would be an added advantage
• Communicating and presenting data effectively,

• Ability to develop good relations with the customers at the last locations
