About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our Service Department at the Virar factory.

The role involves on-site installation and commissioning of machinery, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring smooth execution of all service activities. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical, electric, or ITI fitter background with 1–2+ years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• 1–2+ years in on‑site installation and commissioning in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical Engineer – Diploma / Degree
• Electrical / Electronics – Diploma / Degree
• Strong mechanical skills
• Leadership qualities and team coordination
• Clear communication with team members and clients
• Basic knowledge of computer software and hardware
• Experience in installation and commissioning in a manufacturing company
• Client‑handling and problem‑solving ability

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation and commissioning of machinery
• Ensure closure of work orders and generate spares if required
• Attend FATs with customers and ensure all points are cleared before dispatch
• Ensure timely travel to sites as per installation schedule
• Facilitate meetings with customers to understand the scope of work
• Assist with shifting and de‑boxing of machinery
• Coordinate with customers and other departments for smooth installation
• Follow up with Design and QA teams for design or document‑related issues
• Submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Site‑Visit Reports on time to reporting manager
• Discuss site‑visit status and issues timely with Supervisor / HOD
