Job summary

Medekom Ventures Private Limited is seeking a Service Engineer for High-end Medical Equipment in India. The role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of medical devices with a focus on reducing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in medical device service, a BE/B-Tech in Biomedical/Electronics/Mechanical or a related diploma, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and sales.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in service or maintenance of medical devices.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of medical equipment including patient simulation devices, Cardiology & OT products.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and reducing downtime.
• Good communication with customers and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and service medical devices.
• Repair and maintenance of medical devices.
• Installation and maintenance of medical equipment (Patient simulation devices, Cardiology & OT products).
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and prepare service reports.
• Maintain daily communication with customers and collaborate with sales team.

Summary/objective

As a Service Engineer for High end Medical Equipment, you shall be responsible for
installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing Medical Devices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Experience in repair and maintenance of medical devices.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of Medical Equipment (Patient Simulation devices,
  Cardiology & OT products).
• Handling preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Maintaining daily communication with customers to ensure resolution.
• Relevant technical knowledge of basic electrical/electronics.
• Minimise downtime with proactive measures.
• Making maintenance service-related reports.
• Working closely with the sales team.
• An ability to work well under pressure.
• Preferably from a medical instrument service and calibration background.

Experience

2-5 yrs.

Qualification

• BE/B-Tech in Biomedical/Electronics/Mechanical
• A diploma holder may also be considered with good experience in medical devices.
