Job summary

Airlock India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a proactive field service engineer to install, commission and service our valve equipment at customer sites across Tamil Nadu.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare detailed service reports while coordinating with sales, production and customers. The role requires 2–3 years of valve-industry experience, strong problem-solving, good communication, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in the Valve Industry.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of our equipment’s at customer site.
• Troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance support.
• Inspection and performance evaluation of equipment.
• Preparation of service reports, MOMs and technical documentation.
• Supporting spare parts identification and service quotations.
• Coordination with customers, sales & production for completing the service activities.
• Coordination with customers, sales & production for supply of spares parts.
• Planning site visits and managing service schedules.
• Handling customer complaints and providing technical solutions.
• Supervising junior engineers and technicians during service activities.
• Conducting training or technical demonstrations for customers when required.
