Overview

Vacancy Name: Service Engineer — Ahmedabad. Location: Ahmedabad, India. Employment Type: Full-Time. This Automation Engineer is responsible for maintenance, commissioning and installation activities, and troubleshooting of process control valve systems, flow meters, hot water system control panels and sensors. This position reports to Manager – Customer Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine the necessary repair or replacement of spares and equipment at site.
• Maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting of hot water systems, condensate recovery systems, control valves, PID controllers and flow meter systems.
• Provide technical and maintenance training to customers about the product.
• Possess basic knowledge of Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs & SCADA software and modify programs as required.
• Knowledge of PID, HMIs and industrial communication protocols.
• Understand SLDs, control wiring drawings and troubleshoot the systems.
• Basic knowledge of IoTs and IIoTs.
• Prepare reports, technical manuals, ensure proper handover of the system to the customer, obtain signed site acceptance reports, and submit weekly and daily reports.
• Knowledge of pre-commissioning and commissioning protocol standards.
• Willingness to travel in PAN India as per requirements.
• Knowledge of steam and steam accessories such as condensate pumps and steam traps.
• Knowledge of control panels and power panels and their wiring.
• Reading and understanding electrical drawings and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
