Job summary

Relevate is updating its website and migrating to a new design. Based in Chandigarh, we seek an experienced SEO specialist to support the migration, preserve rankings, backlinks and content authority, and then lead the SEO process under the Marketing Manager to grow organic visibility across core solutions.

The role covers migration SEO, technical and on-page SEO, content optimization, off-page/backlinks, and AEO/GEO considerations to expand AI search visibility.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on SEO experience with client portfolios.
• Proficient in SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, GSC, GA4 and Screaming Frog.
• Proven ability to preserve rankings during website migrations.
• Strong written English and data analysis skills.
• Experience with redirects, schema, and Core Web Vitals.

Responsibilities

• Audit current rankings, top pages, backlinks, and content.
• Create a preservation map for keywords and meta elements.
• Manage 301-redirect mapping with zero ranking loss.
• Post-launch crawl comparisons to verify metadata.
• Ongoing technical SEO tasks: sitemap, robots.txt, schema, Core Web Vitals.
• Monitor backlinks and conduct competitive link analysis.
• Coordinate migration and track organic performance.

About the role

Relevate is updating its website and migrating it to a new design. We need an experienced SEO specialist to support the migration by preserving existing rankings, backlinks and content authority.

The candidate will then lead the SEO process under the direction of the Marketing Manager to grow organic visibility across Relevate’s core solutions (CRM, marketing automation, IT managed services, digital transformation, virtual staffing).

The job responsibilities will include:

• Establishing a strong SEO foundation
• Extending into AEO/GEO as AI search grows
• Transforming the website into a main lead generation tool

Requirements

Key responsibilities

1. Migration SEO (the priority)

• Audit the current websites keyword rankings, top pages, backlink profile and content
• Build and execute a preservation map to retain target keywords, title tags, meta descriptions, H1s and internal links
• Create and verify the 301-redirect map (old to new URLs) with zero ranking loss
• Pre/post-launch crawl comparison to capture title/meta/H1/schema before going live

2. Technical SEO

• Optimise sitemap.xml, robots.txt, llms.txt, canonical tags, schema/structured data
• Monitor crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site speed and mobile performance
• Manage GA4, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster and other SEO tools

3. On page & content SEO

• Keyword research and mapping on all pages
• Optimise titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and content structure
• Research trending topics for insights new SEO content

4. Off page & backlinks

• Conduct audit on backlinks, competitor link gap analysis and link building strategy
• Delete irrelevant links where necessary and monitor for spam/negative SEO

5. AEO / GEO

• Track and improve brand visibility across AI search using AI monitoring tools
• Maintain llms.txt and structured data for ai citations
• Identify third party sources for AI engines and monitor citable proofs

6. Measurement & reporting

• Monthly reporting via GA4, Search Console, Google Tag manager, SEMrush/Ahrefs for rankings, organic traffic, backlinks and conversions
• Validate organic performance with lead generation using corrective actions wherever required

Required skills & experience

• 3-5+ years hands on SEO experience, with a proven client portfolio of organic growth
• Experience in using SEMrush, Ahrefs or Moz, Google Search Console, GA4 and/or Screaming Frog
• Demonstrated link building experience for outreach, digital PR and competitor link analysis
• Experienced with redirects, canonicalisation, schema, robots/sitemaps, Core Web Vitals
• Must have completed at least one full website migration showing organic rankings
• Strong written English and data/analytical skills

Ideal but not essential

• Experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads
• Experience with Australian or B2B markets
• Familiarity with Zoho, CRM/automation or IT services industries
• Working knowledge of AI search optimisation (GEO / llms.txt / brand visibility in LLMs)
• Experience driving lead generation through a website

What success looks like

• Successful migration with no measurable loss in rankings or organic traffic
• Documented report showing preservation of keyword/backlink/content inventory
• Working with a strategic SEO roadmap into AEO/GEO and monthly reporting structure
• The website is the primary lead generation channel
