Job summary

NAB India invites applications for a senior role in Operational Risk, Controls, Compliance and Process Improvement. The role focuses on strengthening regulatory obligations, mapping controls, and driving business transformation and risk management initiatives across the organization.

You will work with stakeholders to design dashboards, support change management, and lead process improvement initiatives using recognized methodologies, while benefiting from NAB's development programs and flexible

• Lean Six Sigma / Process Transformation and Continuous Improvement Qualifications
• CRISC/CSA/CISP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Supporting business stakeholders with regulatory obligation effectiveness assessments
• Documenting business processes and controls to the expected enterprise standard
• Recommending opportunities to improve processes and controls to support improved risk management and compliance
• Assisting in ad hoc tasks, as required, to support the successful delivery of the Strengthen program objectives

Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Controls, Compliance, Process Improvement, Business Transformation, Internal Audit, or Consulting rolesPayroll, HR Operations, Workforce Compliance, or Regulatory Obligation Management experience highly regardedHands on experience in creating controls and running Control testingsWell familiar with Change management processProficient in creation of Dashboards to showcase ongoing team progress against goalsProficient in structured problem solving and process improvement methodologies tools and processes across the business improvement and transformation lifecycleStrong PowerPoint capability to clearly articulate problems to various stakeholder groups and recommend solutions

Preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft suite - Excel, PowerPoint and WordBusiness writing and influencing skillsExperience with Signavio or similar process modelling tools and enterprise risk management platforms

Essential capabilities

• Proficient in creating and maintaining documented process and controls in line with enterprise standardsDemonstrated and relevant expertise in risk management and compliance environments in the context of business process and control improvementStructed problem solving and business improvement methodologies tools and processesGood interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and influence internal and external stakeholdersBackground and thorough understanding of financial servicesDemonstrate a thorough understanding of key tools, techniques and concepts behind process improvement and apply them to deliver required outcomes

• Adapting approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations and changes in priorities.Provide regular, ongoing feedback to team members to ensure achievement of organisational goals and development of staff capable of leading the changeBuilding partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
