Job summary

NAB India invites applications for a senior Product Owner, Liquidity Management, to shape and deliver liquidity capabilities for Corporate and Institutional Banking. You will own the product vision, roadmap and backlogs while collaborating across Banking, Treasury, Payments, Operations, Risk and Technology to achieve measurable outcomes.

The role requires deep Liquidity Management knowledge, strong stakeholder skills, and experience in agile delivery.

Qualifications

  • 15 -18 years' banking experience, including 5+ years in a Product Owner, Product Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Liquidity Management services, including Cash Concentration, Notional Pooling, Intercompany Lending, Liquidity Forecasting and Cash Visibility.
  • Experience with ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX messaging and CAMT reporting.
  • Understanding of cross-border and multicurrency payments, interest calculations, liquidity accounting, core banking processes and end-of-day operations.
  • Proven experience developing product roadmaps, managing backlogs and delivering complex banking initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and across the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability and evidence-based decision making,

  • Provide product leadership to a cross-functional squad, creating clarity of purpose, priorities and outcomes
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define product vision, roadmap and priorities, informed by customer needs, market trends and business objectives.
  • Discovery & Solution Design: Lead requirements gathering and solution design, balancing customer value, risk and technical feasibility.
  • Planning & Delivery: Define outcomes, manage priorities, support delivery and measure realised benefits.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across business, technology and vendor teams to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Regulatory & Industry Change: Assess and respond to evolving standards including ISO 20022, SWIFT and market infrastructure changes.

Purpose:

The Product Owner, Liquidity Management, is accountable for shaping and delivering Liquidity Management capabilities for Corporate and Institutional Banking customers. The role owns the product vision, roadmap and prioritised backlog, translating customer, market, regulatory and business needs into commercially sustainable and operationally resilient product outcomes. Working across Banking, Treasury, Payments, Operations, Risk, Technology and external partners, the Product Owner provides product leadership to cross-functional delivery teams and guides the discovery, design, implementation and continuous improvement of capabilities such as cash concentration, notional and gross pooling, intercompany lending, liquidity forecasting and cash visibility. The role uses customer insight, product performance data and market intelligence to make evidence-based prioritisation decisions, balance customer value with risk and technical feasibility, and ensure that delivered capabilities achieve measurable customer, commercial, regulatory and operational outcomes.

Essential capabilities

Other capabilities:

  • Experience using Agile product and delivery management tools, such as Jira, Rally, Confluence or equivalent platforms.
    Experience with Liquidity Management, Treasury, Cash Management or Payments platforms.
    Understanding of vendor-delivered banking solutions and product implementations.
    Knowledge of business case development and benefits realisation.

Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Technology or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Banking, Business or Technology advantageous.
