Job summary

Rajesh Power Services Limited in India seeks a Senior Tender Executive to own end-to-end bid lifecycle for large EPC tenders in the power sector, coordinating techno-commercial responses and ensuring compliance with NIT/BOM requirements.

You will manage vendor coordination, prepare bid packages, track deadlines, and support post-award activities such as LOA, BG/EMD submissions, and contract documentation.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–6 years tendering experience in an Electrical EPC company.
• Strong command over NIT interpretation, BoQ analysis, and bid document preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with n Procure, CPPP, and state eProcurement portals.
• Experience handling BG, EMD, and post‑LOA compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Study NIT/RFQ/BoQ documents for substations (GIS/AIS), transmission lines, and EHV/HV cable, BESS and Green Energy projects.
• Prepare complete bid packages: technical compliance, deviation sheets, priced BoQ, and commercial forms.
• Draft covering letters, query replies, and techno‑commercial responses.
• Compile bid enclosures: BG formats, EMD/SD, experience certificates, undertakings, MII declarations.
• Track bid deadlines, pre‑bid meetings, and corrigendum/addendum updates.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors for material and erection.
• Prepare rate analysis and cost comparisons; liaise with procurement for long‑lead items.
• Maintain vendor rate database for substations, cables, transformers, and switchgear.

Role Summary

The Tender Executive (Senior) will independently manage the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle for large and complex EPC tenders floated by central/state utilities, PSUs, and industrial clients. The incumbent will be responsible for techno‑commercial bid preparation, vendor coordination, compliance management, and post‑award documentation — ensuring that all submissions are complete, competitive, and compliant with the tender conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Preparation

• Study NIT/RFQ/BoQ documents for substations (GIS/AIS), transmission lines, and EHV/HV cable, BESS and Green Energy projects.
• Prepare complete bid packages: technical compliance, deviation sheets, priced BoQ, and commercial forms.
• Draft covering letters, query replies, and techno‑commercial responses.

• Draft LOA acceptance letters, contract documents, and PBG submissions.
• Manage e‑BG submissions on Goverment, or client portals.
• Coordinate post‑award deliverables: insurance, QAP, drawings tracker, milestone schedule.
• Monitor tenders on CPPP, portals of GETCO, PGVCL, DGVCL, OPTCL, MSETCL, DTL, PGCIL, SAIL.
• Maintain live tender pipeline with status, deadlines, and win/loss records.

Qualifications

Required

• B.E./B.Tech – Electrical Engineering.
• 4-6 years tendering experience in an Electrical EPC company.
• Strong command over NIT interpretation, BoQ analysis, and bid document preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with n Procure, CPPP, and state eProcurement portals.
• Experience handling BG, EMD, and post‑LOA compliance documentation.

Preferred

• MBA / post‑graduate qualification in Operations or Finance field.
• Prior exposure to Gujarat Discom, RRVPNL, DTL, OPTCL, MSETCL, GETCO or SAIL/MECON tenders.
