Job summary

Schima Sysnet And Systems is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows, cloud, and Office 365 environments. The role emphasizes AD/Exchange management, virtualization administration, and disaster recovery planning within a robust ITIL-aligned framework.

The candidate will oversee backups, patching, security adherence, and routine health checks while ensuring interoperability across diverse technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows Server environments (AD/Exchange), virtualization tech (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with M365 Security, backups, and disaster recovery tooling.
• ITIL-based change, release, and configuration management practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows, Azure, AWS, and Office 365 environments and M365 Security.
• Manage and support Windows Server infrastructures including AD, Exchange, DNS, and print servers.
• Design, implement, and maintain server backup solutions (e.g., Veeam) and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement and troubleshoot virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V; manage VCenter/ESXi hosts.
• Perform system analysis for interoperability of Exchange, AD, and related services.
• Lead capacity planning, performance monitoring, and security for infrastructure; apply CIS benchmarks for security review.
• Oversee patching schedules, VA scanning, and routine system health checks.
• Manage router functions, firewall basics, and infrastructure firmware upgrades.

Roles and responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain systems within Windows, Azure, AWS, and Office 365 environments and M365 Security.
• EDR Anti Virus
• Backup and disaster recovery tools, Windows Cluster
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V.
• Design and implement server backup solutions (e.g., Symantec, Arcserve, Veeam) and ensure their ongoing maintenance.
• Manage and support Windows Server infrastructures, specifically focusing on Active Directory (AD), Exchange, DNS, and print servers.
• Perform design, maintenance, and support for Microsoft AD/Exchange infrastructure, including performance, capacity, and recovery technologies.
• Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting for interoperability of diverse technologies such as Exchange, Active Directory, and others.
• Utilize ITIL best practices for configuration, change management, and release management.
• Oversee infrastructure management, including capacity planning, performance management, and security.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic firewall and router functions.
• Manage system firmware for infrastructure services (e.g., VCenter, ESXi hosts).
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery strategies utilizing LAN and WAN techniques.
• Support and maintain systems running Windows Server 2019, Linux, and ESX environments.
• Manage patching schedules, patching records, and follow-up, including VA scanning.

Other responsibilities include:

• Backup review and verification.
• Bi-weekly user access review and management.
• Hardware validity and lifecycle management.
• Basic security settings review in line with CIS standards.
• Routine system health checks.
• User management reviews (AD user accounts, GPO, CNAME records).
• Infra application management post go-live (e.g., VCenter, CyberArk, Veeam, WSUS, Trendmicro/Symantec replacement, MSSP).
• Manage router SMS gateway services and contact lists.
